Processes and Technology
MBB has the processes and technology to give you the efficiency, accuracy and security needed to maximize your recoveries.
MBB uses a software package called VQN (Virtual Queue Network). Developed by Uni-Source 2000, VQN was built from the ground up from their previous collection software CCAS (Credit Collection Accounting System). Working closely together, MBB and Uni-Source added a modified healthcare billing package to VQN. Based on MBB’s recommendations, Uni-Source fully integrated the two applications creating what is arguably the best healthcare collections software package on the market today. VQN allows us to import and monitor specific healthcare information relating to any unpaid charges. This allows our collectors to speak intelligently with our clients' patients concerning their unpaid charges.
MBB utilizes state-of-the-art Predictive Dialers to provide the highest recovery for our clients. We also record calls for quality assurance and training purposes.
Our Virtual Private Network (VPN) along with our FTPS site allow for the secure and timely electronic transfer of data to MBB and conversely, MBB can electronically transfer any new data acquired during the project (such as new address, phone or insurance information) back to the client.
In order to increase overall efficiency and safeguard data received from clients, MBB employs its own onsite computer programming personnel. Being able to import client accounts quickly and accurately into our system so work can begin, makes this an added benefit.
In addition to already being compliant with FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act), FDCPA (Fair Debt Collections Practices Act) and Medicare Guidelines, MBB has also taken steps to be HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliant because of the special issues associated with electronic transmission of patient information.
